I a 5'3, 139 lbs and wear a size medium. I ordered a size small and it is tight to the fit. I originally ordered a medium in this jacket but had to return, it was way too big. Now I got the small and hmmm a tiny bit snug in the arm pits. I can still wear a sweatshirt underneath so I'm good. It's long which gives added warmth. \nI'm 5'/128lbs. and returned med. for small. I'm broad in back/shoulders if this helps in deciding factor. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE all the pockets. Exactly what I was looking for. It does make noise\nwhen walking. I can probably hand sew it back in. \n\nBut overall Columbia quality has me worried. I purchased this coat from a merchandise credit for a coat that had a seam rip after about 4 months of use. I have another Columbia coat where the snaps came off after it's first wash. It’s roughly 26* here in NY at present and I can’t feel the cold or wind. I gave 4 Stars because the zipper gives me a headache! It takes entirely too long to Zip this thing up; it’s very stubborn at the very beginning. Quite sickening, to say the least. The coat is much heavier than most Columbia coats and a bit on the puffy puff side. It’s has more than enough pockets; two double on the outside (total of 4) and one on the inside and they’re all very deep. Overall, the warmth is great when zipped. However, you don’t get that same warmth with just the snaps for closure.
