While I love the look and quality of this jacket, don’t depend on it for rain gear. Maybe light rain, but moisture came through the jacket and it was quite uncomfortable in pouring rain. Things I love about it: \n1. It takes up very little room in a suitcase or backpack. \n2. It kept me 100% dry and insulated in a chilly downpour, and wasn't too warm to keep wearing when the weather cleared. \n3. The hood adjustment allowed for the perfect combination of head coverage and not falling over my eyes. \n4. Size-wise, it's roomy enough for layers underneath and long enough for hip coverage. The sleeves are quite long, which I love. Plenty of length to velcro them over the wrist bands of gloves.\n5.
