They fit like high waisted pants! The “waist” sits just below b00bs and it’s a SNUG fit (I ordered a medium) that I wouldn’t be layering under. The bib part came up to the middle of my neck (maybe that’s why they made it removable. ) The pros are that I do like the drop seat and the legs did adjust to the right length. I just really expected them to be more forgiving of my short stature because they’re bibs but I felt the same relief I do removing a corset (and the Velcro was adjusted all the way out but my ribs are larger than my waist. ) There was no way I could sit on the ground in these. The sizing is definitely not for layering. The thigh and hips are really tight and they’re short. Also, calling these a bib is a stretch, they’re a pair of pants with a weird flap in the front that I’m not sure what the purpose is. Bibs are meant to partially cover your back too and these only have elastic straps. I usually wear a size 18 and have larger hips/thighs. I ordered a size 18 and they fit great through my hips and butt… until I sit down. The back of the pants is very low cut and when I sit is barely covers my rear. I’m keeping them because between my high waisted long underwear and jacket it should be fine, but it would have been better if the rear of the pants was cut differently. Until it came time to pop a squat while deer hunting. I unzipped both sizes with ease. Great. Then, realizing at that point I still had to pull down my pants/long John's and undies (which with bibs on, takes a little maneuvering). I did my business and pulled up my pants/long johns and undies just fine, but was left with my drop seat flopping on the ground. I tried grabbing onto both zippers as I had unzipped but with so much material not being held tight together, I wasn't able to zip the sides back up. I ended up pinning my drop seat/back end against a tree to hold them up for me while I barely managed to zip one side up at a time (never able to zip 100% of the way up so the high waisted back allowed air flow anyways (this was maybe due to the fact I was dressed pretty heavily on top and it was more difficult to be limber) \nI also don't like the fact that there is a very strong Velcro at the Ankle that hides the zipper so when I'm walking, I'm not able to unzip the legs (quietly)so I don't break a sweat. \nI also don't like the pockets with buttons on the butt. Literally nobody caries things in their back pocket when they are hunting (obviously these are \"sitting\" pants bc they are so warm) and putting metal clanky buttons on the butt leads to extra noise. \nThey are very warm. They Are a \"cute\" idea for us ladies, but not for someone who doesn't like going commando under their hunting bibs and hunts alone and doesn't have someone to zip up their bibs for them. Waste of money. Stick with old school wool pants.
