I knew I was going to get this coat on time. Well I got it and to say it’s perfect is an understatement. It’s gorgeous, it’s warm, and beautifully stitched, with every detail perfect! Can’t wait to wear it. Well worth every dime!!! I got brown and am usually a medium but I need to layer under so settled for a large. Seems very true to size. The style and color are nice. But, the medium was a little tight in the arms and shoulders. I am 5 ft 2 ish and 132 pounds. I wanted to be able to wear a fairly thick sweater underneath. The biggest problem was the snaps that go down the length of the coat. I am 57 and have some arthritis in my hands. Closing the snaps caused a great deal of pain and was difficult. Of course I did a review of how nice it was but I had no idea exactly how great it was until i got to Iceland . I was never cold , chilled the parka was everything I needed then as we were walking and the sun would come out it had straps attached to the interior that I was able to take the jacket off and carryon my back like a backpack. That made it perfect for while walking around in town you would get in the shade and get cold then around the block and get the sun would beat down in your an take take parka off it was perfect. The parka was light weight to be so warm and the exterior had that soft material. Now for the biggy I had MORE compliments on how nice my coat was. This was on a 4 week cruise and we had a lot of wind and rain. I was the envy of all that was wet as we’re standing in lines (cue) for a lot of different events. I had an xl I am 5’5” 150 fit was great went over anything I wore and the odd thing was I was loosing weight when it first came and a lot bigger and it still fit very good. When I first got it out on the cruise to wear it I noticed a tiny pin hole with a feather sticking out I’m sure from the 3 different flights over something penetrated it but I called the support company and they immediately told me how to repair it . It’s so small and inside the interior you cannot even see it. I am 5’7” 130 lbs and followed other reviewers comments and went with the M size. Despite having a great waist cinch cords I wish there was less material with the medium. Before I committed I did try the small and although the waist was great it did limit my shoulder and arm movement. I have slightly broader shoulders. Extremely warm, very flattering, love the huge hood, and the hand thumb holes are a great addition. Only negative is I struggle with the zipper.
