They appear white in the photos, but they are a light grey which is what I was hoping for. I have a wider foot and wear a 39 in wide Birkenstocks and a 9 in Brooks. I bought a 9 in these and the fit is perfect. \n\nVery comfortable shoe- but the tongue and heel area are a very stiff mesh. Hoping they relax a bit.
