I thought it was highly suspicious, so I ordered a 14 regular. I normally wear a 10-12 in pants. the 14 regular is SO LONG and still slightly too big in the waist and hips. Not sure who built that calculator, but it is so so wrong. I would recommend buying your normal size for a fitted look and one size up from normal for a looser fit.
