I never ever write reviews. That being said, this ski wasn’t on my list. In between, my guy suggested these based on my needs etc. yet I’d never heard of them. Well- Was blown away. I actually rode a 168 and generally ride 152-154ish depending on the ski/ conditions. Couldn’t believe how smooth they handled in powder and also kept their edges on some surface ice. These are very lightweight, yet Fast, stable and super fun. I kept changing my all demos back for these- I’d wear other more known skis for only one blue/black run, change them immediately out for these- pretty sure I got a good 10-12 solid fast runs in on these bad boys. That was last week. Went back today, 6 inches fresh powder and was so sad to ski in my own skis. My ski guy saw me asked if I wanted to take a spin on the QST LUX’s since I had my older son with me. My day was MADE. They ski like butter. It felt like I just traded a Hyundai in for a Maserati. Incredible feeling. As a 40 year old skier for 30 years, I am in love with these skis. The turn radius is so small even skiing on much longer skis it just blew my mind. Compared to the skis that most people consider the “best” to me they didn’t come close. To each is own, certainly also comes down to where you ski. I’m in the East, up in the White Mountains. Excellent grooming tons of powder very little ice super steep and long runs. Taking these off today broke my heart. Can’t wait to be able to purchase these before the new ‘26 design bc these are my absolute favorite ski.
