They were used as my everyday work shoe in a retail setting. My husband is a commercial/charter fisherman so our family are xtratuf people. I loved these shoes for the first few months but shortly after they started coming apart on the inside. Now I’m having to purchase new shoes because a hole has been worn in them through the top leaving them unwearable. Usually this company makes great shoes so i was expecting to get more than 1 years worth of wear out of them. I did give them 2 stars because the soles/bones of the shoe are amazing and my feet never hurt at the end of the day like they did after wearing other shoes. I was sad to see the price go up so high. I considered purchasing a new pair since they didn’t hurt my feet but then i saw the price of nearly $150 and just couldn’t bring myself to spend that on a shoe that i know is going to fall apart after one year. Like someone else said, if i couldn’t make them last just wearing them for my retail job i for sure wouldn’t trust them on a boat. Very comfy and supports my hips, back, & legs. Back of the shoe was a bit irritating to my heel, causing a blister, so I just took a scalpel and cut a dip out. Problem solved. Couldn't get in contact with customer service to return a pair that was too small (called 3 times and was on hold for an hour each time before hanging up). Decided to order the next side up anyway and just eat the $50 ish cost and the new pair is already coming undone on the inside heel and gives me really bad blister where the seam is. These shoes continue to surprise me! I have a lot of hip pain and annoyingly picky feet. These shoes are simple yet sturdy and supportive. Love em. Some of the rubber seams can be a little loose but I make it work i.e the back of the right heel was flappy from the beginning so I wear moleskin to prevent blisters bit I will absolutely buy another pair when the time comes.
