These glasses are incredible lightweight, do phenomenally well in the direct sun, and give crystal clear vision in a wide variety of settings.- - I have put these to the test in the mountains, on lakes and rivers, and through the harsh glare of sun off snow pack. These do an exceptional job with any direct shots of sun. The one challenge I had was actually the reflection on the inside of the lens when the sun comes from behind. The interior of the lens threw off quite the reflection as well when the sun hits it just right giving me a little shot of sun to the eyes.
