Cut your chicken breast to the desired size for your bun, and then in half so they aren’t as thick.
Have you ever soaked your chicken in pickle juice? Give it a try to achieve that copycat fast-food taste. Put them in the fridge and let them soak for 3 hours.
It’s time to pat the chicken dry and season with Spiceology’s Nashville Hot on both sides!
Coat the chicken in the flour/breadcrumb mixture, alternating with your dredge (spike your egg mixture with hot sauce for some added heat).
Keep alternating flour, egg, flour, until the chicken is fully coated. [Expert tip: After going into the flour the first time, make sure you shake off any excess flour to ensure the breading sticks well to the chicken.]
Fry your chicken in the oil (preheated to 350°), cook for about 4-6 minutes, flipping at the halfway mark.
If you like your chicken crispy, cook until golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 165°.
Let’s top off our sandwich with pepper jack cheese, even more pickles, and you guessed it,
A lot of Beer’s BBQ sauce! Enjoy a taste of fast food at home!
