Have owned lowrance products for years have 3 depth finders on boat and active target 2 love them. Clear water, no grass, etc. My son and I went on a trip this past weekend and drove 6 hours. The second day of our trip, the prop quit turning when engaged. Everything else worked but prop wont spin. Drove 2 hours to a Lowrance certified tech, and he was certain that it was a seal failure, and would be covered under warranty. He even said if Lowrance was not closed I would call and ask if I can put the one I have in stock on for you. Now i have learned Lowrance will not cover it, so a $3,500 trolling motor is useless, unless I want to pay over $1,500 to have lower unit replaced. All because of a little quarter sized gasket that failed.
