All the blades snapped off but the ferrule made it through and the arrow ended up broke off and stuck in his heart. He didn’t go 50 yards. If I had not hit his heart I am sure it would have been a different story. The ferrule appears to be like new yet. I sharpened the tips and bought a rebuild kit. If the blades had not snapped off, the arrow would have probably not made it through the shoulder so maybe it was a saving grace that they did break off. Who knows really, every situation is different. There is no such thing as the perfect broad head.
