Imagine This
You're cruising down the road with your collection of bikes and make a pit stop to top off the tank. While at the gas station you want to grab a snack from the back cooler and let Rover out for a well…you know. You walk around to the back of your vehicle and realize that you need to unload all these bikes to get access to the hatch.

Sorry, Rover. You're Out Of Luck.

An Easier Way
Now what if we told you there was a better way? An easier way. A hitch bike rack that lets you access the rear of the car in one step – both with bikes and without.

Born in our innovative labs in Madison, Wisconsin, the Glide EX does exactly this thanks to one-step glide action. Simply push the trigger to release the rack, and boom - hatch access. When you're done, the same amount of (non) effort glides the hitch rack upright. Then you're good to go, and Rover is too.

Featuring easy-to-load bike hold downs, best-in-class ratchet straps and integrated locks, you can speedily fasten your bikes to the Glide EX and know they're secure as you head toward your next adventure.

And only the Glide EX 4-bike is available in three choice colors for maximum style: standard black, head-turning bronze and sapphire blue.

  • Convenient, one-step access to the back of the car - fully loaded with bikes or not.

Awesome Rack - Perfectly Engineered
This is my third Saris rack, and I'm thrilled with it. I was shopping for a hitch-mount that would get out of the way of my SUV's hatch while keeping the bikes flat. Not as easy to find as you might think.

Saris just seems to "get it" with their design and engineering. I was using a different hitch mount rack (SoftRide) that technically did the same thing, but there were super annoying design failures that ultimately made me just not want the rack anymore.

Not with this rack. Installation took 10 minutes. It comes fully assembled. The trigger to lower the whole rack is easy to use, and the rack itself must have a certain amount of mechanical advantage designed in b/c it's easy(ish) to then put back up.

Same for putting the arms down to save space when not in use. To do this, you just pull one large handle that controls both arms at the same time. Easy up, easy down.

These might seem like minor things, but with my old rack, there was a lot of removing pins, moving arms, replacing pins, etc. And the main release knob was covered by the arms when in the down position, so in order to open the hatch with the arms down, you had to pull the pin, remove the arm, replace the arm, replace the pin, etc

Highly recommend this latest hit by Saris. It has all of the design pros I posted above, and FWIW, it just looks good too, so that's a nice bonus. If hitch-mount, fold-down (keeping bikes flat), quality rack is what you're looking for - this is the one.
