I've got three of these t-shirts (all the 100% cotton style; check the description for clarity) and they are outstanding. I wear a M, I ordered M, fits great. I know some folks have reviews about Carhartt running big, my experience has been the opposite. These t's all fit great.
Why did Carhartt get rid of the Original Fit tee shirt. I have been wearing them for close to 20 years and now they felt it necessary to switch to Loose Fit. After trying several loose fit on they definitely do not fit the same. They are baggy in the shoulders and neck and longer in length. Even the clerk in the store remarked that Carhartt has made a big mistake.
I wear only 100% Cotton shirts. I have multiples of every color. All the new Colors are not 100% cotton. I haven’t bought a new Carhartt shirt for myself in two years. I have been forced to buy from other manufacturers to get the 100% cotton shirt that I prefer.
This shirt and brand are quality! Great feel and body to the shirt. Husband is 6'6" and the selection of sizes is terrific. XLT is his usual size that works in this brand, too. Pickup at Scheel's was a breeze.
I like to skate in Carhartt stuff and even their more expensive "streetwear" line, Work In Progress. These shirts are nice and loose and great for the price. The best part is they don't get all stretched out or rip easily. I'm tall and sort of slim but I normally wear XL because a lot of brands large size shrinks to a medium in the wash but the XLs I got in these were so big I had to shrink them down. Luckily they kept form and didnt get all short and wide on me. One problem I have is how long the sleeves are. They come down do your elbow and it reminds me of soulja boy tall tees lol
I’ve been wearing Dickies pocket t-shirts for the last 10 years. I ordered 10 white tees about a month ago. You have cut the sleeves off about mid bicep, from the elbow length they used to be. I won’t buy any more. Why do you companies insist on changing what’s works.
Let me start by saying I love the fit of these shirts. But I purchased white shirts and washed them completely by themselves and they came out yellowed added no bleach or detergent with bleach I can’t even wear them they look so yellow
Very comfortable. Normally I wear an XL tee shirt but a fellow Carhartt wearer said the L size would be perfect…. And he was right. I had nerver heard of Carhartt before but now I see them everywhere! Great tee shirt!!
What have you changed in the the fabric on the solid colors? My new shirts are stretchy compared to my old ones! I also have to add dryer sheets to the dryer, because the new ones are full of static! I’ve bought Carhartt for almost twenty years, why do you find it always to change things. One more thing the new ones feel lighter material also. I may have to change brands!
I have worn Carhartt products for many years like 40 some years. I recently ordered Loose Fit t- shirts. only to discover they are larger than my regular medium shirt. Why did you change sizing? I took them out of the package and into the washer they went. So I will wear them out but I wish I would have known sizing. Thanks John
