With casual style and reliable protection, the Men's KUHL® Kopenhagen Jacket is a great choice for warmth this winter. The MIKROTEXTM insulation offers incredible warmth without the bulk, while the waterproof fabric keeps you dry in light rain or snow. The attached, adjustable hood offers additional protection against the harsh elements. For lightweight warmth, try the Men's KUHL® Kopenhagen Jacket.
This is a great external winter shell/jacket. That works around town or for the mountains. It is fairly warm. I wore it in NYC when it was 13 degrees 4 degrees wind chill with just a flannel shirt and a fleece underneath it. The hood worked great protecting my face. The material is very comfortable and the jacket has plenty of room to layer but doesn't feel bulky or heavy and was able to fit into a smaller suitcase while I was traveling. If you are looking for a very functional winter jacket this is it.
Seems like a nice coat and has a lot of great features, but fits like a size larger. I own 3 other Kuhl jackets that fit perfectly. Not sure what happened with this one. I understand leaving room for base layers, but damn, not that much. Way too big. Very disappointed.
Seems like a nice jacket, but fits like a size larger. I own three other Kuhl jackets that fit perfectly. Yet, this jacket I can almost fit another person in it with me. Way too big. I understand leaving room for base layers, but damn, not that much. I'm very disappointed.
I like this jacket better than the Spyfire hoody. The outer fabric has a nice cotton feel to it, and you have confidence that the fabric will stand up to wear. The jacket has a slim profile, you don't look poofy in it. The size small is around the same as the Jetstream, whereas I had to go to a medium with the Spyfire. The fit and finish on the Kopenhagen is must better vs the Spyfire. I love the inner knit cuffs instead of the normal velcro, the fit is much better and it seals out the weather better. The main zipper has wide teeth, so it does not look waterproof, although the binding looks water proof. So it is strange that the chest pocket has a waterproof zip. I'm glad that the main zipper is a double, you can unzip from either the top or the bottom. The hand pockets have normal zips because there is a flap protecting the zipper. I like the soft flannel lined hand pockets, it is lined on both sides of the hand, vs some jackets which are only half lined. The jacket is longer in the back to cover the butt. The hood is too big, but you can cinch it down. It has a stiff plastic rod in the brim to keep it stiff. There is an inside pocket, but it in the same side as the outer pocket, so that if you have something in both pockets, it will create a bulge. As usual, the Kuhl fit is excellent. I just with brands would be more consistent in their sizing.
Looks great, fits great, warm but light weight! Have had mine for three months and held off providing a review to see how it would do through the rain, wind and snow of the NW (Oregon). Most of my previous jackets now just sit in the closet and don't get any love...because I'm in love with this one!
Jacket is Outstanding, very warm, comfortable and stylish! I did notice that this jacket seems to fit more traditionally than other Kuhl items that are sized smaller than other comparable clothing items.
I loved this jacket, warm, waterproof, but not too heavy. We are traveling to Scotland in November and this is the perfect piece for cold, wet days, but not bulky. I would totally feel comfortable wearing this in the city, and not feel out of place, but also can hike in the highlands, and wear to grab a pint after.
