Had two pairs of these now, and they are awesome. The pants are "very" well made and have stood up to all the abuse i gave them without fault. They just both look and feel better each time i wear them. New you can wear them literally anywhere, out for dinner or hard at work. The color lasted well but fades in time to create a color and wear that you just cant buy and still look great. All my mates are jealous and I always have people asking what make they are. The total outdoor trouser IMO. They have stood up to hiking in Scotland and regular outdoor work ran or shine, game keeping and forestry works on the North Yorkshire estate. They are my favorite go to trousers. Trying to look after my current pair as harder to source in the UK.
Had several pairs for over 5 years now. Been on several elk hunting trips, weekends working on the farm, very little wear. Great range of movement for climbing over logs or up steep inclines. The full fit are a necessity for people with muscular legs
Quality, durable, heavy fabric. Love the color and design. These are FULL fit (i.e. relaxed, baggy) which I think makes the sizing run a little big. I actually have a 32" waist and 28" inseam. I will need to hem the pants about 1" or so, and the waist is an inch two too big. Not a big deal and fits fine with a belt, but wish I had known before purchasing.
I wear a 35 inch waist pant when available, usually need to buy a 36 (and a use a belt) as 35's are not that common. The Rydr in a 36 wasn't even close to being able to close. I returned the order and will try again at retail where I can try them on.
Pants are good, side pocket inner material is too light- a knife feels awkward and uncomfortable, I wish it was lined with the pant material. Also, the front snap pops every time I bed down so basically must wear a belt. Otherwise good pants.
the pants fit great.. but the button is a hair trigger. seems like the least bit of pressure and it opens. pretty disappointed in that. maybe a defective pair? i’m 6’1 185 and the 33x32 fit great. but the snap is aggravating.
These are a wide pant with very full leg and seat. They are for large people. I am 5'9 175 and bought 34x30. I wanted them a bit big to tuck in t-shirt and shirt in winter. They were fine in the waist and well made thick material but just huge everywhere. They are like a work pant and reminded me of something a rancher might use in MT. I was looking at them for a hiking or winter casual pant. Nope.
I would say these are true to size (I am currently in the weird 1/2 size between 31 and 32, so a belt is necessary). Color is good (Dark brown), it looks "complex/expensive," not "generic work pant" like Carhartt. The material is great, very durable without being heavy. By far the best feature is the mobile pocket, it feels completely natural and 100% of all pants should have it.
I use these as work pants for building ski lifts. The range of motion is great. Hiking around ski resorts, climbing up and down off of ladders and form work is now problem, and the fit looks and feels great. The snap closure is a little week, but a belt keeps it closed.
Once you wear these pants you won't want anything else. they also stay very clean. I use these when I travel for vacation. Either to Europe or in the United States and they stay clean and presentable for days. I love them!!
Great fit, easy to move in, dry quickly after wading rivers or caught in rain. I which the side pocket was wider so it could fit my cell phone. Older versions of the pant accommodated my phone, these new ones have a narrower pocket.
Love the style and look and comfort of these pants but the button design is a problem. I have a pair that the button pops open on all the time some days and just once in a while on other days...and no, I am not fat. Have bought 3 pair of pants, only one pair has the button issue.
