These are super comfortable! Very light nylon with just enough and not too much stretch. DWR is very good and lasts pretty long before a need to replenish. Of course the trademark gusseted crotch and articulated knee make them amazing. This thing has 8 pockets and the two zip in the front, are discreet. You could get away wearing these as every khakis. The material feels more comfortable, the longer you own them. Love’em
What a great fit. Not saggy or baggy, with plenty of room in the crouch and knees. The material is lite weight and comfortable for cool to warm weather. Very well thought out with plenty of pockets and quality constructed.
I really wanted to like these pants. But, I do not like the fabric. Love the pockets.
Fabric is not soft, and it makes noise when you move. I have many other women Kuhl capris, and pants that I dearly love. They are my go to pants! However, the lack of deep pockets, or even a cell phone pocket led me to try the men's style.....do you really think women don't need extra pockets for a short hike? I have other men's pants for that same reason. Plus, I don't have much of a backside, but am little bit wider in the waist.. I can wear a women's Kuhl pant size 8 very comfortably. I just really wanted some extra pockets for traveling. But, this fabric just doesn't work for me. I'm trying the revolver Rogue, and hoping for the best.
My husband was looking for utilitarian pants that would look good and be comfortable. These hit every point he was looking for. He's worn them shopping, for dog-related activities and outings, and looking forward to traveling with them. Pockets are unobtrusive but useful, material is very comfortable, and best of all he looks good in them. Sizing seems to be as expected also.
I have half a dozen Kuhl pants and these don’t fit with the same comfort. The color is great, finish and workmanship are typical Kuhl quality, but the cut seems to favor modern style over function. I will keep them, but if I were trying them on in the store (I ordered online) I would not have bought them.
I love the original Renegade pants, but these area poor facsimile of them, with three major fails: 1) Pants now cut to sit at bellybutton not at actual waist giving us crotch sag 2) Only single waist button, second button was removed, probably to save 3 cents per pants 3) Fabric doesn't stretch anymore making these pants way less comfortable
I could almost excuse 2 and 3, but #1 in inexcusable. What man wears pants at bellybutton? Now these pants give us crotch sag. So disappointing. I loved the original Kuhl Renegade pants and bought many over the years. I'm even wearing my 3-year old pants as I type this, but they are getting old, and I'm getting sad. Kuhl has abandoned their loyal customers with this "update". At least some men can wear these though. The first "update" they did of the Renegade pant was a total disaster. Maybe they'll get it right next year.
they are my favorite pants and I'm wearing a 3-year old pair as I write this - however a few years ago Kuhl, in its infinite wisdom discontinued those pants and replaced it
These pants are incredibly comfortable, durable, and worth every penny. I bought 5 pairs. They are holding up great. Couldn’t be happier. Perfect for miles on the Inca trail, AT, or just wearing them to church on Sunday.
These pants are awesome. I can carry everything I want in them without looking too bulky at a decent price. Tuck in a shirt and you can easily go for a business casual look. They improved the thigh pockets with the most recent iterations by making them pouches rather than sewing them to the pant leg.
I originally bought these for fishing, but they've turned into my go-to pants for everything! They are cool, keep the bugs & sun off, and dry quickly when fishing. The stretch is awesome! Lets me bend, kneel, sit, stand naturally- no having to hike up my pants, or feeling like I'm gonna tear the arse out... And they last! They're more comfortable and will outlast two or three pairs of jeans. Oh, and they look good too...
Perfect pant for travel. Durable, lightweight, drys fast, and has two zippered side pockets for stashing valuables. Wore a pair last year travelling for a month in China and just purchased a second pair for a trip to Peru. Recommended.
I love these pants. They're comfortable, they have hydrophobic properties, they clean easily, and they last. Versatile pants that I can wear hiking or every day. Great for warm weather, and with the proper layering, and insulation, can be worn during the winter. I've had these pants as my primary pants and shorts for years now, and I couldn't be happier with them.
