I love them, I should had figured using them for work, many of years ago. In the Marine Corps, those are the boots we used, should had figured it out a long time ago. Could had saved so much money! No other boots could ever meet the standard. Thank you so much!
This is my fifth pair of danner boots this is my second pair of the 400G boots. They are so comfortable the time you first put them on and fit great. I am a plumbing and HVAC contractor I work inside and out The boots work great in any weather and condition. Thanks
My husband bought a pair of Danner boots years ago that he still wears. He was wanting to replace them and since we aren't able to find an extra wide boot in most stores, we ordered this one online. It is very similar to the one he already has and I'm sure he will be wearing these for years too!
I have only worn the boots a couple of times prior to writing this review but the boots seem to be well made and of quality materials. Boots will require some break in but are fairly comfortable right out of the box.
This is my third pair of Danner boots !! I absolutely will go out of my way to find and purchase these boots. There is not a dealer that keeps Danner boots on the shelf close to where I live, so I have to order them and I will continue to do so.. if you need a comfortable, strong, sturdy pair of boots these are the boots for you. The people who put these boots together have pride in what they do! And the company stands behind them. Great boots!!!! Awesome company right here in the United States of America!!!
I work as a concert laborer in NYC. I am currently working on a foundation project. It is the end of December. These boots are subject to mud, ice, rocks, rebar, uneven terrain.and concrete! The insulation is perfect and the sole and heal is nice and rugged. Thank you I am a very happy redwing convert!
I swore off Danners about 7 years or more ago due to a lack of quality/durability. I reluctantly (had a merchandise card from returning my last pair of danners) bought a pair of these about a year ago and they have held up about as good as can be expected. I liked them well enough to buy another pair recently, which says a lot.
Awesome shoe I finially found a shoe that fits and they feel great first time on They keep my feet warmer than rubber boots that are rated much higher for insulation. Personally they could have a little more lace at the bottom not sure if that is a width thing but I used to need tongue pads but not w/ these shoes. I would purchase these boots in black as well if that was an option.
Like the boot very much but wish there was an option for higher thinsulate the 400g doesn’t cut it in my work profession. People in my work profession are wearing boots with 1000 or 1200g thinsulate they say it’s a must.
Had multiple issues with boots before these, 2 pair only lasted about 3 months each. My job is hard on boots but expected more from danner. Their customer service recommended these with no cost to the up charge and they have been great! Coming up on a year and still going strong. Hard to find quality boots now days, if they ever need a boot tester count me in!
I am a professional gardener. I also have peripheral neuropathy (numbness in my feet) and Morton's neuroma (feels like I am walking on a pebble). I have been searching for a boot that not only made my feet feel better, but also withstood the rigors of my job. This boot fills that bill.
I bought an insulated boot, because the neuropathy gets much worse when my feet are cold. I was worried that they would be too hot in this boot during the summer, but that is not the case. I can't wait to see how they perform in the winter.
My foot health aside, this boot took no break-in time. I wore them all day the first day and have worn them everyday since. The ankle and arch support are stellar and the vibram sole gives me a good grip on the steepest hill.
Instead of spending $150, twice a year for boots that I was never happy with, I decided to suck it up and spend the $300 (actually, my husband bought them for me). So glad he made me get them. I will never go back. I am sure these boots will last me years AND I can get them reconditioned. In the long run, they are going to save me a ton of money. Thank you Danner, for making my feet feel so good!
PS. My only complaint, you don't have these boots in the women's department. Women need this boot too!
Expensive for what they are. Boot required NO break in period for my feet. Kind of wide for D width boot. Last pair of Danners I had, was 30yrs ago, the Acadias, wasn't impressed with durability, but fit was better. We'll see.
