I need a lubricant that will not attract fine dust and other undesirable sand and grit. I run several types of semiautomatic firearms, both pistols and rifles. I use Dry Lube to lubricate most of my firearms, and especially like it for lubricating BCGs, trigger groups and buffer tubes in my ARs. It works well for me, drying quickly without forming a hard shell or becoming gummy, and it doesn't attract grime like wet lubes. I can run the rifles longer between complete cleanings.
