I can easily fit 2 rifles and miscellaneous equipment in it and not worry about anything being damage in the back of the pickup. It is also at a great price point where I don't mind if the case itself gets scratched up driving to and from the range. ","text":"This is a good case for the money if you need a stout case for the bed of the truck. But it’s not a case for Airline Travel. If you have an expensive blaster, or other gear, and you want to guard against big bumps in the road on the way to the range this is a good case. I have a few. I do recommend them especially if you use the DAKA system. I definitely do not recommend them for expensive gear you plan to check at the airport and I work for an airline. The top/bottom plastic is just too thin. It not cheep plastic thin but it’s just not tough enough for airline travel. Good and very capable for the p/u truck or quad. I am using this particular sized case for an expensive o/u shotgun and another one for a scoped shotgun. Both case uses are adequate and work great. I do recommend these cases as described. Just not built tough enough for airline travel. This is honestly my first rifle and rifle case so I was hoping I didn't mess it up. I have a V200 and I did a horrible job with that foam, so I went into this a little more cautiously, lol. I watched a video on how to cut and found one where he added plasti dip spray to it after you get the shapes figured out. I am happy with the results and learned immediately that there wasn't much to it except how much detail you want or care about. (I'm not saying to spray it, it's up to you to spray or not) \nI liked how well it turned out that I'm going to get the 42 all weather next week and do the same. Great case, very solid /sturdy poured well, the latches and all that goes into it built great, shipping box was flawless also. \nMy o-ring got stuck when I opened it but it was shipped to Alaska and I imagine the weather changes throughout travel had something to do with it. All I did was add a silicone based lubricant and used a plastic trim tool to re-seat it into position and all is well. I'm kinda glad it did that because I like my o-ring lubed and probably wouldn't have done that right out of the box on my own. \n\nAnyways, it's obviously worth it, it's only $100-ish $110 I think, and it's built far better than what $100 gets you these days. It's a very simple choice if you are in the market, guarantee you would not be disappointed. 🤙\n\nCase is 5 stars easily - build quality, look, parts used & price \n\nBut I can't get in touch with a human at the office all day so I will see what happens in that. Tempted drop demote ⭐'s\n\nPlacing the order and receiving it was NO problem though. Not sure what's up with that. But I could not find a shorter one reasonably priced.\nAfter receiving, it turns out that it is exactly what I was looking for. The quality is superb. The hinge and latches (four latches with two lockable) are very durable.
