This line is tough and I use the 50# for tying leaders on my santee rigs for catfish. I decided to order direct from Berkley this time expecting to receive newly manufactured line instead of older inventory like that which I was getting from other retailers. The spool of 50# I received has the date code of J-7-23-1 which is 10/17/23. I received this on 1/30/24.
