The rod is sensitive, has excellent power to land quality fish of many species. The only complaint is that the reel seat comes loose and by others complaints about it breaking maybe I'm lucky that it only loosens. I just matched it with an Abu Garcia Red max spinning reel with 15# braided line. I have been experimenting with an older Abu Garcia Tournament spinning reel. I would buy a MH model if the reel seat were redesigned.
