The customer service was not!","text":"We buy Keen often. We love the durability, quality and craftsmanship of the shoe. However, the shipping was a nightmare along with the chat customer service. I’ve worn these boots for 2 years and the fit and construction is great, but they are the sole of the shoe is very very slippery. If you step on the smallest rock that’s a little wet, log, roots or step on a damp tile floor it is like you are ice skates. I wouldn’t recommend these until they fix the sole. They were about worn out so I ordered the Durand II model. I looked at a lot of other hiking boots but all were too narrow even in their Wide fit models. The Durand I and Durand II boots have a wide fore-foot toe box area that I need. The old boots will now be for lawn and garden and the new ones will be for beach hiking, mountain bike riding, and general use.
