Think this is my 3rd pair over the past decade. Love the fit and feel and the fact that they come in wide sizes for my “duck feet”. I go with the Atlanta style over the Flint and Detroit styles mostly because these still come with the quick laces, which I like. In my work I can do with soft toe, but they weren’t available. I usually go with the brown Shitake colored shoe which go nicely with my khaki and green slacks. Was taking advantage of the 25% of sale and they weren’t available so went the Gargoyle. Since my workplace removed the ankle requirement on hard toe foot protection, I decided to try these to test the water on safety shoes instead of boots. I used my most recent pair of Keen Cincinnati boots and a pair of Koven I bought last month for a size reference prior to ordering these online. \n\nI'm honestly disappointed. I wish I would have tried them on in the store prior to purchasing. The keen work boots and and regular shoes I've worn in the past have had plenty of toe room, even in standard width. These seem to cut into my small toe on both feet. The sole was mush harder than I was expeting well. \n\nI also love Lock Laces and put them on all my street shoes. I like the comfort and ease of putting the shoe on that lock laces provide. Keens attempt at the Lock Laces on these work shoes miss the mark for me. They're not elastic (which makes sense in retrospect), and loosen easily.
