The Bondi SR are NOT it. \n\nI wore the Bondi SR on one foot and either the Bondi 8 or the Bodi 9 on my other foot. The SR are stiffer, not as confortable as the Bondi 8 or Bondi 9. The size is the same, so I did not need to size up or down from the more familiar Bondi 8 or Bondi 9.\n\nThe slip resistant sole of the Bondi SR has a bit more traction when compared to the Bondi 8 or Bondi 9, I would say about 10 to 20% more traction.\n\nWhen walking on a wet floor, the Bondi 8 and the Bondi 9 squeak while the SR is silent. \n\nThere is the squeaking sound coming from the inside of the sole as other reviewers have mentioned. If you are walking on the street or a mall, you won’t notice it. However in a quieter setting, such an office, home, movie theater, you will hear it. \n\nThe squeaking sound DOES NOT come from the sole touching the floor but from INSIDE the sole. So, it does not matter if you are walking on a carpet, you will hear it.\n\nThe SR is leather all around to protect you from spills.
