Made in Vietnam, the boots say they are waterproof. I can't find anywhere on the box or the boot what material they are made from, but I can tell they are synthetic, not leather. The inner liner seems to be a canvas material. They're a sharp looking boot that I think could go well in both a country or city setting. They seem well put together and have a very cushy inner sole and a moderate arch support. I have a wider ball area with normal heel width. These boots were too tight through the ball area for me to walk comfortably, so I can't speak to durability over time. They seem to be true to size in length with a normal width. If you have a wider front foot or bunions, these may not work foryou.
