I wear them all the time. My waist is currently about 34in and hips 40in, and im about 190 pounds, and 6ft1in (just for reference). I tend to be a medium in most shorts, but in these im a large. Make sure you size up or they will be very tight on the thighs and the butt. I tried on a medium and I felt like I was being suffocated.
