I was looking for a multi-purpose travel/gym option and this duffle is exactly that. I really like the size of the bag and the variety of pockets it offers. The large external pocket that extends the length of the bag has multiple lined pouches for valuables and a place for an ID tag. It is also big enough to store smaller items needed for a trip like socks, my toiletry bag and other odds and ends that I don't want to combine with my clothes. The main compartment is vast. I went on a 4-day golf road trip with my buddies and was able to fit 4 days of golf attire, regular clothes and pajamas with ease. Also, the compartment on the end of the bag was large enough to house my size 11 golf shoes without issue. After using it for the trip I definitely prefer it over a standard luggage option. I haven't taken it to the gym yet, but the bag could easily store a couple of basketballs, a pair of shoes and post workout clothes, plus whatever odds and ends you need. \n\nWhen it comes to the construction, feel and style of the bag it definitely lives up to the Nike/Jordan name. The zippers are beefy, and the bag obviously has built in reinforcements/thicker material where needed. The material itself seems really durable and could likely stand up to a lot of abuse. I probably wouldn't advise using as an air travel bag unless you are carrying it on the plane. The bottom of the bag is supportive with minimal padding, and we all have seen how bags are loaded/unloaded from aircraft. The bag comes with a shoulder strap carrying option as well as hand straps that are wide and thick. The shoulder strap was easily adjustable to the find a comfortable height for carrying. I think the most striking thing about the bag was the reflective Jordan script on the side of the bag and massive red Jump Man logos. I got multiple compliments on the bag from my friends and my 11-year-old attempted to steal it upon revealing it from the delivery packaging. I may need to purchase another bag if mine goes missing. \n\nOverall, the Velocity duffle definitely fits my needs. It is ideal for trips to the gym where a lot of carrying capacity is needed, while also a great option for road trips with the family or friends where clunky luggage isn't required. The style screams \"Air Jordan\" and my 11-year is finally jealous of something I have, and he doesn't. Our family uses duffle bags like this for family vacations each year, this bag is certainly going to be used for this purpose. The excess number of pockets is useful for storing smaller items within the bag and ensuring placement. The handles have a solid cushioning that is comfortable while carrying the bag. My daughter loves the bag for her sports gear and uses the extra pockets for smaller items such as extra softballs and batting gloves. This makes it easier for her to access her equipment and has a designated place for the items. The only suggestion I have for this bag would be a removable sturdy bottom that can help keep the bag's shape while in use and make packing and carrying around easier. The bag's color combination of black,white and red is appealing, and the quality of the material as well as the stitching is excellent. \nHowever, there are some drawbacks to the bag. While it is a great size for outdoor use, it is too large to fit in my son's locker room during gym sessions, so he has to carry it around the gym. Additionally, the lack of separation compartments is inconvenient for him, as he dislikes mixing his dirty dirty and sweaty clothes with other items like towels, shower items, and sports gear. He also wasn't fond of the logo being a press-on sticker. \nIn light of these issues, I believe a smaller sixe option would be beneficial, providing more flexibility. Lastly, the shoe garage is a nice touch for quick access and being it's own compartment. This helps with keeping potential dirty shoes away from anything being carried.
