I can pull them on and off without opening the laces which is not good for the cold. They also slip some of wet surfaces like most UGG's which have terrible grip especially in the winter. I bought these for winter, rainy walks with my dog. \n\nThe pluses: they are comfortable and cute\n\nThe negatives:\n\nThe top has no means to cinch around your ankle, so it feels like the boot is coming off all the time - I am regularly re-tightening the laces as I walk to no avail. They should have added a lace loop higher up.\n\nBecause the top does not cinch, rain gets into the boots. I have been walking 2 hours in the rain, and returned home to VERY wet feet. Not fun.\n\nThe sole does not offer any grip. I walk on uneven terrain and find myself slipping a lot. Even on wet asphalt, the boots want to slide.\n\nI don't love the height of the sole. Not once did my feet get wet or cold. 10/10 recommend. Only thing is now my white fuzzy is covered in mud. I walk a lot and needed comfortable snow boots to get around. Ugg boots usually run large and I have to wear thick socks. I comfortably used my sneaker socks with these boots. The traction is also great. I got it because it's been snowy and rainy and I was tired of walking into work with wet and cold feet. The only thing I'm upset about is that I didn't buy them earlier in the winter. Also it was comfortable from the get go, no rubbing or squeezing or having to get used it. 10/10 shoe. I did get it 1/2 size up because I usually do that with boots, and I think it was a good choice.
