I was looking to update to the Bondi9 and purchase them online but I went to the store first to test them out. I asked for the same size and width as I have now. The Bondi9 is slightly narrower both on the sole and in the front foot area and as a result is not fitting well and I will not be purchasing these. While Hoka may want to make improvements in the sole on each version, it is imperative that they ensure that the width of the shoes remain the same to ensure you keep customers. I have tried NB, Reebok, Nike, Adidas, etc. and Hokas were the first shoe to feel extremely comfortable and stay comfortable throughout the life of the shoe. It is EXTREMELY disappointing that Hoka would change this shoe in a what that would impact the fit of the shoe. If they want to update a shoe significantly, then bring out a new shoe line but don't mess with what works. This is so disappointing. I received the shoe on September 2 and they started hurting the balls of my feet by the middle of November.
