This bad boy knocks it out of the park. The time spent in to designing this is so intuitive it blows my mind. Of all the features I enjoy the fact the main compartment folds open to put eyes on everything available. The laptop space fits a tactical stretcher absolutely perfectly for quick deployment and evacuation. I am a little on the shorter side and this bag is comfortable for EDC. I have carried it every day on the ambulance for a little over a year and it has held up very well. Its got plenty of room for a 3 in 1 parka and all the junk I carry on shift. It will carry most everything I need but occasionally I have to bring an extra bag. (Whenever an instructor demands we need the books and a laptop. ) I also bought the Rush belt kit after I found out how much it hurt my shoulders to carry 20+ lbs of gear for a school day.\n\nSo the laptop pocket will support a Dell G16 7630 which is a 16in laptop if you are a little rough and pack it first. (14in W X ~10in D)\n\nThe shoulder straps hurt if you pack it over 15lbs and must be modded to have much wider pads. No biggie, easy to mod.\n\nThe Rush belt system is iffy as it relies on friction to stay in place but will use short straps that have a hard time staying in place with. I'm about to sew them on again another mod that can be done at home.\n\nThe sternum straps sit too high and do not stay in place eventually moving up to my throat, no amount of adjustment via their system has stopped this so it stays unbuckled. Annoying but meh.\n\nI prefer this to the solution Dell sells as compatible. Some days I have to use a bag I got from a competitor but most days I can get away with just this bag which is why I bought it. I work security so i crammed this thing full of waters, my laptop, different items i need for work, and of course snacks. My only draw back is i wish there was a bag that 5. 11 sold that could attach to the bottom buckles of this bag that was basically a collapsible lunch bag per se. working 12-16 hours shifts at times i bring my own dinners and lunch and i have to carry a second bag that is insulated just for my perishable food. I use mine primarily for business travel. There is a generous amount of space for my personal and business laptops, an external monitor, keyboard, and mouse. There is plenty of extra room for other things. I had some trouble getting it under the seat in front of me, but if not overpacked it should serve as a personal item.\n\n\nAs the name implies, it is also perfect for an overnight or even two days away from the house if you’re packing only clothes and overnight items in it. \n\nThere are multiple compartments for organization. With pretty consistent use, I quickly got used to exactly where everything is. The smaller pouches at the top have zipper areas to safely secure the most important items, like car keys. Other zips within the larger compartments are very helpful. My fiancée was very impressed with mine so we ordered one for her as well. These backpacks were constructed very well, from the zippers, seams, and all straps. So far so good without any issues at all. For me personally I wish the mesh inside the backpack was of a thicker quality, but not really any complaints at all.
