With a drawerful of cheap, disposable, pocket knives, the feel sets it apart from the moment you hold it. The mechanism feels sturdy, the finishes on the blade and handle, not to mention the edge, scary sharp, passes the arm hair test with flying colors. Didn’t see the purple anodized accents when purchasing but, looks good, adds a nice contrast to the dark, green aluminum. Feels good in the hand, grip has some texture that doesn’t slip on wet, oily hands. Perfectly balanced and lightweight at the same time, perfect for everyday pocket carry. I use it daily everyday for everything from cutting. To pry bar I have even used it as a makeshift throttle accelerator on my motorcycle when my throttle cable broke and it got me off the side of the road. I depend on it like fish depend on water. A little backstory first…\nI have seen this knife on so many videos on everything from bushcraft to gardening to cooking to hunting. I always had a slight spark of “man I like that knife” every time for years. I couldn’t justify the price for a folding knife, but then realized I spend that much for kitchen knives and other gear. So I finally got one, and it’s become a daily extra limb. The size, feel, blade style, functionality and action make this an easy favorite, and I’m mad at myself for waiting so long. Saying this is an everyday carry knife is beyond an understatement, it is a companion item through and through. If you enjoy the outdoors and working with your hands, this knife is truly a necessity.
