I cherished this knife and carried it every day for at least 10 years. Then I bought the next one and a couple of years later I bought my 3rd and 4th. But that first knife was irreplaceable. I appreciate the craftsmanship and quality of these knives and the company that stands behind their product with their lifesharp and warranty programs. I had sent my knives back for sharpening and tune-ups over the years and never had a problem until recently. My 1st knife went in for warranty and lifesharp but never made it back to me. The stand up support folks at Benchmade informed that the USPS lost my favorite 1st knife which is no longer in production. That is how I got the replacement knife I am reviewing now .
