These rain jackets are the best out there in terms of water repellency. The Beta is breathable and good for varying weather conditions. It is light weight and highly packable. Size wise I will say that their jackets run quite small. I am typically a size 8 or 10 across the board, athletic build, 34DD, and 5'4\". I purchased an XL in this jacket to make sure I could fit layers underneath. A photo is attached. I have the Beta AR in a size medium and it is snug across my hips - I can only fit a thin layer underneath. Very excited to have the larger size in the Beta to have options of what to wear underneath.
