I have bought several pairs of chest waders and not the cheap ones and each time there is some kind of hassle. The latest is I opted for some new Pants waders hoping to get them before my trip, they came quickly but the fit was so ridiculously small I had to check to see if they sent me kids waders, no kidding, it was that bad. Sent them back same day and phoned Simms was advised to go to the next size up. . ,reluctantly I did…I am a size 36…so I ordered the large 36-40 the first time and couldn’t get em up past my thighs so now I ordered the XL 40-42 just got em today…. . had to grease my hips to get em on over my shorts, and zippered was completely undone. So the zipper won’t zip up and the snaps at top are fully opened and to snap them it would mean I need 6-8 inches off of my waste. Incredibly poor . What else sucks is twice now I’ve planned them on a trip and couldn’t use them either time and sent back same day and am being charged a “handling fee” both times, look that is piss poor business your sizing chart is so ridiculously off and then you have to pay a fee . I ordered a L cause I’m a 33 waist and 11 shoe and the booties are pretty tight but I legitimately can’t even pull them up around my hips. Absolutely ridiculous. They should allow refunds on these no matter what because the size chart is totally incorrect.
