It sets up easily, I like how the two main poles are connected at the intersection as it's easier to maneuver alone as opposed to two separate poles. I used this tent for two nights car camping, then took it on a 4 night backpacking trip in Sleeping Giant Provincial Park. There is plenty of room inside, and the vestibules are large enough that I could store my 75L backpack, hiking boots, and camp shoes under one side and nothing got wet.\r\n\r\nThe mesh is heavy duty and doesn't feel like it would tear easily. The rainfly water resistance is good with heavy rain, although as expected heavy dew does saturate it. The doors are good sized, the zippers seem like they'll last a while, and the internal pockets are well placed. The seams and materials look and feel quality. I particularly like the quick setup and the fact that there is an included ground cloth (though depending on how much it adds to the price a plastic tarp would work just as well). This tent work well for me and my adult daughter. We enjoyed opening the flap at night to see the stars. The vestibules were very nice for keeping boots and hiking poles at night. It could have more storage flaps inside but the two worked well that are there. It is very easy to set up and tear down and constructed well while being relatively lightweight. The tent size worked well to fit in my suitcase. It was small and light. The three inside pockets: one on the ceiling and two by the doors were great. There are many tabs on the ceiling of the tent. I was able to make a triangle clothesline to hang small items to dry during the day. \r\nIt rained a lot and hard! The tent was pretty dry. One end got a little condensation more than the other because the rainfly needed to come down just a couple more inches so my sleeping bag was damp at the feet in the mornings. If you tuck your tarp up and under the rainfly, that may help. \r\nI used the 4 guylines and staked the tent on all four corners, the two vestibules, and the two middle rainfly tabs. FYI, You will need two more stakes not included. Also, the stakes have a small ledge so I used two stakes with hooks for the vestibules that held better.\r\nIt comes with a footprint which is good. The footprint isn't super thick and feels like the rainfly, which is VERY FRAGILE, so use a tarp as well! Harbor Freight has them and they are not expensive.\r\nCONS: \r\nThe rainfly is VERY FRAGILE so be careful. I was climbing out and my hydration backpack caught on it and made some little holes. Also, the tent flipped onto rocks from a gust of wind while I was taking it down and made six more gelpencap-sized holes. There goes my waterproof. :( I was so disappointed, so be forewarned. \r\nThe tent DOES NOT come with a repair kit. However, Kelty will repair it for free within 4-6 weeks if you pay shipping. Do not use duct tape or they may not repair it. \r\nIt is a small tent. I was pretty cramped with my sleeping bag, wide Klymit pad, hydration backpack, and carry-on bag. Get a 3-man tent if you are not concerned about size or weight. It will be easier to find your things with a little more room. \r\nThe tent is not very tall so if you hope to use a cot, forget it. I personally like sleeping on the ground. \r\nThe poles are connected in the middle by a piece of plastic, so I was very careful putting them together. Fairly lightweight, although I wouldn’t want it for long distance backpacking trips. The stargazing mesh is good too. Easy to set up, although parts of the instructions aren’t relevant to the particular model, which is a little confusing. It’s a good size for me, my pack, and my dog. The awnings are a good size and the double doors are convient. Finally, the choice was made and the product was tested.\r\nWhat I liked:\r\n- Internal volume.\r\n- Footprint is an included option.\r\n- Tent colors.\r\n- Stargazing option.\r\n- Wind resistance.\r\nWhat I did not like:\r\n- The declared weight does not correspond to reality, the total weight with 2 additional pegs is ~2600 g. At that weight, I would never buy it.\r\n- The second main disadvantage is a declared floor length. 210 cm (very tight fit) in fact vs 214 cm in specs, pretty noticeable for tall persons with L-size sleeping bags.\r\n- Not a complete set of pegs, this tent needs 2 extra pegs for stability. \r\n- Pegs color, easily lost in last year's grass (I already lost one).\r\n- The color of the pouches can also be easily lost as they blend into the grass.\r\n- Easy to install. I stayed in three National Parks in Pennsylvania. Temperatures were 32 to 57 Fahrenheit and it rained a few nights. Except for the normal condensation any tent would have in these temperatures the tent performed perfectly! It’s a bit more complicated to set up then let’s say the Discovery 2 but I really wanted two doors and this tent for the bill for price and quality. The pegs, piles and materials are all of excellent quality. You could get a lighter tent but would pay double or triple just to reduce the 6 lbs by 1.5 to 2 lbs. I know have several tents and this one fits in well for motorcycle camping trips when I want to reduce my overall pack volume and weight. I like the spacious vestibules and the ability to roll back a section on the fly.
