Unfortunately I am quite disappointed. Unit struggles to seal the bags in one try. If there is any moisture in the bag, I have to attempt to seal 3-5 times before it actually fully seals. The unit also is required to pull vacuum to help squeeze down when making a bag (first seal without anything in it) and that seems like a waste of time. I now have to manually push down on the lid to get the sealer to seal and pull vacuum which is another frustration. This sealer does not deliver any better results than a $150 unit. I have been very disappointed. It worked ok the first 2 times I used it and then it did not seal well at all - it would not \"flip\" to seal after vacuuming air for 2-3 minutes. I called LEM and they instructed me to make sure the foam rings around the top and bottom of the sealer are pulled out to about 1/2 way to ensure they create a seal. I did this and, without a bag in the sealer, it did run through the cycle and appeared to work. \n\nHowever, when I used it the next time it was the same problem. I called tech support again and they said it may be the bags I'm using are not allowing it to create a seal. If this unit is that finicky, I definitely did not get an upgrade from my old ones! At any rate, they are sending me some of their bags to try again. Not sure if that will help or not but I'm about out of patience with this thing.
