I finally replaced the fork battery today after 49 months of riding. The speed started mysteriously hoping around and dropping out. Same deal happened with the handle bar computer. Iv'e replaced it twice. This is a reliable accurate computer that is reasonably priced. Highly recommended. These bottom 1 and 2 reviews for 'hard to install'? lol No, replacing a truck engine is hard, this is incredibly easy. Use your brain and figure it out. It's easy to install to the bike and is easy to program and use once programmed. Has clock, trip timer, trip meter, odometer, and average speed. It has a very durable rubber case to attach to the handlebar. However, because of the quality of the case, it is not easy to remove the case from the computer to get to the programming buttons and battery. When changing the battery, you will lose any previous programmed information. I left the bike there and they installed everything. I took the unit off the bike to bring it in the house to review the prompts and the time was off so I wanted to re-do it. What a chore changing the specs using a pin, and getting it back into the rubber holder. I tried to look at YouTube videos to see if there were instuctions on that, there weren't. \n It was a nightmare putting it back into the holder, I hate the thought of having to remove it again to change the battery when it needs replacing. I used it only once, today, and thought the information I was seeing was weird so I looked at the online manual (as the paper one that comes with it doesn't tell you anything). Stil hard to read and understand, and it showed my ODO at 85 - what's that? This is brand new, I shoud've only had the miles from today on it. And the 'timer' was already at 11.12 or something when I started. I cleared it so I hope I like it better the next time but so far, not happy.
