My bow is currently set to 60 pounds and I am shooting it very comfortably so 70lbs will come rather sooner than later. The draw cycle on the bow and the let off make it easy to pull and pretty easy to hold. Due to being local, I was able to get my bow straight from the pro shop and Mr. Flint was awesome to work with. He helped me pick the best bow for my budget, measured out my draw length and let me test out a couple bows before making my final decision and then he adjusted everything on the bow for me. However, I’m over that. This bow is easy to tune and I have a lot of confidence when hunting. Took a freezer queen already this season and was just perfect at that 20 yards shot. The accessories are top notch and it’s a great deal at this price. It was just loose in a box with zero protection except a plastic bag basically. Unfortunately, it really just hasn’t been what I hoped. The plus package as a whole doesn’t seem worth the money, the bare bow would have been more ideal. The screws seem cheap and like to strip, the sight also seems the same and has some quirks, the paint or cerakote is ok but it shoots pretty good. The main issue I had was when the bow was delivered the cables were not attached to the cable slide. I would assume this was an issue from the factory but it was an issue I didn’t recognize for months. The cables ended up rubbing and wore into each other causing them to fray. I reached out to Bear support and they first said cables and strings aren’t warrantied (red flag) and that they couldn’t help. After I tried to clarify a manager took over the conversation and chose to accuse me and ignore my questions all together. The conversation went no where and was more of an argument than anything. I read through many reviews before buying this bow and read through more now, and it seems everyone has said customer service has been great, for some reason I didn’t. I’m not sure if I got a fluke bow and customer service manager but both have made sure that I won’t buy from Bear again.
