Buyer beware!","text":"I saved and waited to buy the Apex XD along with additional accessories only to have it arrive damaged. That should not be a big deal and I wasn't at all worried about it as it was the rim and the frame but I figured I could live with the large chunk out of the frame and scratches as that was cosmetic but the rim is messed up badly where the tire needs to seal. This is in 2 different places and as it will be used for hunting even if I could get it to hold air it would have dirt and gravel and all kinds of stuff get in there. I tried calling right away and left a message. I started a claim with their AI and I have sent emails. It has been OVER 2 WEEKS and I can't get any kind of a reply. Dead silence from them. This should be a very very simple solution, just send me a replacement rim and tire set up and have me return the damaged one in the same box. I have not assembled the bike and have left multiple messages every day for the last week including emails as well. NO reply of ANY kind. Since I am not able to properly assemble the bike for use my one star is on the company itself. I guess if you get lucky and have a good bike sent to you it might be a great bike. PRIOR to making this purchase I had called 5 or 6 times over a 6 month period asking questions and EVERY time I called someone answered. Now that I have a problem they are clearly screening their calls or something internally happened with their staff. . . maybe with their crazy high prices they are going out of business? That might explain why they are not replenishing stock/inventory (I was calling previously waiting for the camo version to be back in stock and was eventually told, in short, I shouldn't wait as that might not ever happen. ) I can't even get ahold of them to return the bike so don't trust that 15 day free trial!!!! No way in the world will you get 90 miles of distance unless you are riding downhill with a tail wind in Eco mode the whole way, 28mph is about as fast as it will go on level asphalt with an empty bike, I have had it up to 30/31 but that was going downhill with a tail wind. I weigh in at 190lbs and the XD will slowly pull 35/50lbs of gear on the back roads while scouting/camping in mountainous territory, don't get me wrong, the bike comes in handy, but it's not the workhorse, beast of an off road hunting rig as advertised!! And, you should really consider getting the solar package if you cant plug in somewhere, as soon as I've gone 3/4 miles on level asphalt, the battery goes from 100% to 80/85, then with just a few more miles, i. e. , 20/30 it's already at 20/25% and the power is reduced down to a slow walk. When it inadvertently gets activated, the bike jumps. I have used it for this whole hunting season and it has out done everything I have thrown at it. Customer service has been great to work with very fast response and very knowledgeable about there products. Biggest complaint I have with the bike it the puncture rating on the tire the bike does not fair well in the woods you will end up with a flat tire. This company does sell the liner to prevent this from happening and it works very well just seems it would either come installed or the should make a fix to the tire material bc it is incredibly going to happen. Offer it with polychain drive system installed from quiet kat.\n2.
