The straps worked everywhere and every time. They never slipped on anything I wrapped them around and kept me off the ground. They dont take up room and perfectly fit in a saddle bag. Sadly I hit a pothole on my way home and lost the straps on the road. I will be ordering a replacement set soon. I can be even cozier knowing how secure these are, and can relax even more places considering how much length there is to work with.
