I wanted to reduce the felt recoil of my rifle while shooting quickly during training. This simple addition to the butt stock helped me towards that goal. I was never concerned about injury or scared of the recoil I just wanted something simple to aid with condensing my follow up shots into tighter groupings at a distance. I want to be able to shoot fast at multiple targets and don’t want to worry about mitigating recoil. A softer pad on the stock is a simple way to reduce that felt recoil during these speed drills.
