I got a permit to shoot one with an option to shoot more, archery only. My garden and whole place is getting tore up by the deer. I’m 72 and sold my recurve years ago. I wasn’t that good at it anyway. I also had my shoulder replaced 6 months ago. I couldn’t find a proxy archer to shoot one for me. I was loosing sleep watching the deer on my security cameras. I decided to get a cross bow. I did a lot of research and didn’t want to go crazy on price, but wanted something decent. I bought the Center Point Wrath 430. I practiced an hour for two days at different yardage. I was amazed at my ability in using this bow. I have no problem with the scope that came with the bow. I was able to put 3 bolts within the space of a softball at 40 yards consistently. The crank system works well with my shoulder replacement I had. The next morning I got her with a heart shot. She went 20 feet and fell. The bolt pasted right through the deer. Scheels had the best price. Up to $200 cheaper than the others. I ordered more bolts and tips from them. I feel I got lots of bow for my money. I wax and lube the crossbow as directed.
