So take this review as you will if you're a pro. I am not.\nI used to have trufire hardcore buckle max before this. It was a good release but even on its shortest setting the trigger was too far away from my index so I would slap the trigger after reaching for it. Alot of that was my fault but the tru fire being too far from my finger didn't help.\nI had seen reviews for the Stan but wasn't sure about it. Fast forward 6 months and a wife's blessing and I just got the stan in the mail. \nI am a convert. The trigger is what others call.crisp. The travel on the trigger has been set up to my liking...hardly any at all. And the amount of pressure I need to fire the arrow is set to heavy. I love it. I thought the webbing connection would be annoying and would slip but it doesn't.\nI will adjust it half inch shorter and it will be golden. It's already great at factory spec but once I find the right sized allen wrench it'll be perfect. \nIn short, this release is awesome. GreatEASY adjustments, crisp and solid trigger. Even the strap ain't uncomfortable. The only thing I see is that after firing, the trigger needs to be pulled to reset the jaw but that is part of the design. Glad I bought it. You will be too. Absolutely great price also. I bought the one with the strap so I could adjust it exactly to the desired position for my anchor. The micro adjustment for the trigger was great. The trigger pull and release was crisp and smooth. The automatic trigger rest was spot on.\nThe quality was like any other Stan release that I have owned. Very adjustable, including trigger tension. Some improvement I could wish for would be a BOA wrist strap version and eliminating the floppiness of the release head. I modified mine to BOA which required about 2 hours of hand stitching with synthetic sinew.
