The seat is great if you have the bolts torqued right. You can flip the whole seat up from the bottom without lowering the backrest first. It also has adjustable incline which is great but they used a 5/8 bolt that is too weak to handle extended use. I've had to cut short two hunts and pull the stand to replace the seat incline bolt. I recommend using a 3/4 or even a 1 inch eye bolt for this and adjusting the platform wire formation so that it folds flat. For the price it would be hard to beat this stand I think it’s extremely comfortable. I’ve also shot deer out of it and you have to fold the top of the seat down then fold the seat part itself up but it’s very quiet. I tightened the seat part down very well so it holds itself up when folded up. Easy to install with the brackets, saved fighting a ratchet strap around the tree and trying to hang onto the stand at the same time. The seat is comfortable for extended sits. My only negative with this stand is the platform is a bit small. Not a lot of foot room if the seat is down and you’re standing up. Not only is it almost impossible to stand up and then fire your bow due to the fact that you have to lower the back of the seat before you can then raise the seat itself, it is also extremely uncomfortable. It has you to where you cannot lean back against the tree because you are sitting too far away from it and only comes across your lower back so you can't actually lean back or ever get into a comfortable sitting position. I have found that about the only way I can actually hunt out of the stand is to fold the seat up and then strap it around the tree in that position, because it won't stay by itself, and then stand up and basically lean back against that and the tree. Plastic caps scratched up, & powder coating rubbed off; scratches all over. Putting together wasn’t the easiest but wasn’t the hardest.
