Both times, the foot pedal stopped working after roughly two dozen clays and it will not work again for a few hours. The thrower itself is very nice and well made, but the foot pedal is terrible. I have contacted Ferus support 4 times via email with no response. I really like the compact design and the 20v rechargeable battery is awesome vs hauling around a car battery. Picked up at scheels in Eau Claire. Assembly was pretty easy but the operating instructions could be clearer. The foot pedal has to be synced each time you turn the machine on, it’s annoying but it’s not hard. Is it worth $500? That all depends on what you’re looking for. It shoots pretty consistently, unfortunately it doesn’t have the option for side to side. The wireless foot pedal is very nice though since you can set the machine, quite a ways in front of you and stand back behind it.
