I wrestle for Oregon state and I have previously done testing for nike products. I love the Nike brand and everything they stand for. I think one of the key reasons why Nike is leading in its competition with other brands like adidas and asics is because I assume and seek that the Nike teams puts effort into these shoes with creativity and feedback from teams they decide to test with. I love to converse and expand with the nike team I have been able to connect with because I feel like I hold the inside perspective of what people like and want in their shoes. I recently bought two pair of Speed Sweep 7’s because I like the structural design surrounding the shoe. I have completed the customization with the white pair, and I am currently working on the black ones with a completely different approach. I’ve attached pictures of the white pair of shoes and everything that was included in the process of this customization. I think the removal of some of the material was beneficial for comfortability, weight reduction and swagger.
