I have a couple of SOG camp knifes that I love but one is 10 1/2\" & the other is 11 3/4\" long & both have wider blades. On this knife the belt loop is attached to the sheath with 2 screws & grommets. I removed the loop & attached a belt clip. I wear it on my belt on the right hip. It stays flat, doesn't poke me or hang on things.
