I'm not a fan of where the pocket is placed for the battery pack as the batteries are extremely bulky. The heating element works great and keeps me extremely warm. I think the heat on the thighs is a great start. These long johns do run way long. The inseam is definitely way longer so you do have to bunch these up by the waste in order to pull these up. I am not sure how you fix where the battery pack goes but the pocket for the battery is not comfortable under any snow pants or made for movement.
