I was confused because it says the tier system is sold separately so I bought it aswell. When the bag came, I got the teir system, then I found a teir system that came in the bag in one of the pockets so now I have 2 which isnt a bad thing. The strap is weird. The tech pocket is odd, I dont know what would fit in there other than a pack of smokes. The pad slides around on the strap and with the permanent placement of the tech pocket, its difficult to maintain comfortable carry. I took some 100lb braided fishing line and sewed the movable pad directly under the tech pocket and only now does the bag stay on my shoulder were I want it. All in all its a great bag but yall need to fix the strap pad in place, as it moving around is inconvenient for almost all situations. And the tech pocket. . . idk about that. This pocket also, when wearing the bag, falls somewhere between the top of your shoulder and somewhere on your back. \nIt doesn't seem to matter how you adjust the strap, the buckle will somehow always end up the the most uncomfortable position and be at just the right angle to slowly loosen itself. \nPadding? Yeah technically there is padding for the strap. It comes in the form of a goofy add-on pad,(that you will most likely throw away) which is held on by three hook-and-loop straps. These don't keep it from sliding down the strap and ending up anywhere but your shoulder. Also, hook-and-loop \nsucks for most applications and I would much rather have seen snaps or buttons or permanent attachment by sewing. There is a tiny, permanently-attached pad on the strap. It is above the \"tech pocket\" but, as I mentioned, this will fall somewhere on your back. Not very useful, even if it was big enough\n\nThe bag itself is quite good. There are plenty of dividers and pockets that seem well thought out and the whole thing is well-made. It's too bad the strap makes carrying this bag such a miserable experience that it lives in my closet full-time.
